Position Overview
The successful individual will assist in maintaining and organization of food and beverage products. They will be responsible for working closely with departments to ensure all their daily orders are picked and delivered. They will also assist in receiving products, unloading of delivery trucks and storing the products in the fridges and freezers in our storeroom.
The incumbent should expect to be working mostly inside with occasional outside work in any, all and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
This is a full-time seasonal role, 5 days out of 7 per week. Alberta Employment Standards regarding probationary periods apply.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Adhering to Alberta’s safe food handling guidelines in maintaining a clean and safe workspace and daily temperature recordkeeping.
- Ensuring all food & beverage products received are properly stored in the fridges & freezers, while maintaining proper first in, first out rotation.
- Unload merchandise from delivery trucks as needed.
- Maintaining proper inventory counts and daily/weekly on hand spot checks to verify inventory counts
- Participation in inventory counts.
- Daily cleaning of storage areas.
- Maintain personal physical health & safety awareness in moving and lifting stock
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Other duties as needed.
