Basecamp Outfitters is a retail outdoor gear and camping store that operates 7 days a week. We are looking for part-time sales associates, willing to work daytime/ evening shifts, weekday/weekends (position has the potential to become full-time). Successful applicants must be confident working with others in an busy and upbeat retail environment as a sales associate, selling technical outerwear, camping supplies and accessories. 

We are looking for associates that share our passion for Jasper National Park, the outdoors, healthy lifestyles, and outdoor activities

Job Requirements
  1. Retail experience is a must, past experience with retail POS systems required.  Experience with Lightspeed Retail-R Series is an asset. 
  2. Upbeat and energetic personality capable of working with others, as well as confident working alone.
  3. Proficient/fluent communication in English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset dealing with international visitors
  4. Knowledge of Jasper National Park and surrounding area, local hiking trails and camping spots an asset.
  5. Knowledge of technical outerwear, camping gear, and related accessories
  6. Active and outdoor-centric lifestyle is an asset
