Key Responsibilities

SALES

  • Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences and provide personalized recommendations that meet their needs.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through upselling, cross-selling, and maximizing customer value.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies, including outreach campaigns, follow-ups, and handling customer inquiries.
  • Attend networking events to pitch our services for corporate team building, building connections with business leaders and organizations seeking unique travel-based team experiences.
  • Attend trade shows and events to connect with potential clients and industry professionals, showcasing and selling our services to expand our client base.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize outcomes.

TOUR DEVELOPMENT

  • Design and develop unique, market-aligned travel packages and tours, incorporating client feedback and emerging travel trends.
  • Negotiate with vendors, hotels, transport providers, and tour operators to secure cost-effective and high-quality partnerships.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create promotional content that highlights newly developed tours and seasonal offerings.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, competitor offerings, and destination trends to keep our tours competitive and appealing.
  • Evaluate the performance of tour offerings, making improvements based on sales data, client feedback, and market demand.

Job Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years in sales, travel planning, or tour development within the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of Canada: Deep understanding of Canadian destinations, attractions, and travel trends is a strong asset.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record in a sales environment with excellent customer service skills.
  • Tour Development: Experience creating travel packages or itineraries, with strong attention to detail and creativity.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage clients and partners.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM systems, booking platforms, and MS Office Suite; experience with graphic design or content creation tools is a plus.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required by client needs or travel schedules.
