Retail Sales Associate

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide product information, answer questions, and offer recommendations based on customer needs.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and a solution-oriented approach.

1. Sales and Product Knowledge:

• Have a thorough understanding of the products offered, including features, benefits, and available options.
• Actively engage customers to promote sales and meet or exceed monthly targets.

1. Merchandising and Store Maintenance:

• Maintain a neat and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and stocked.
• Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and conducting regular stock checks.

1. Cash Handling and Transactions:

• Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, and provide correct change to customers.

1. Product Returns and Exchanges:

• Process returns and exchanges in compliance with company policies, ensuring a positive customer experience.

1. Loss Prevention and Security:

• Monitor for and prevent theft or loss by being attentive to suspicious behavior and following established security procedures.

1. Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with fellow team members and supervisors to achieve sales goals and maintain a cohesive and positive work environment.

1. Product Knowledge and Training:

• Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on new products and industry trends.
• Share product knowledge with colleagues and assist in their training as needed.

1. Promotions and Marketing:

• Inform customers about current promotions, sales events, and special offers to encourage purchases.
