Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to lead our dinner service team during the upcoming summer season. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, wine & cocktail knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations in the restaurant, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are consistently met.

Duties 

  • Supervise and coordinate the evening team to ensure efficient service.
  • Manage cash handling processes, ensuring accuracy in transactions. 
  • Generating end-of-day reports and closing duties. 
  • Assist in the training and development of team members to enhance their skills in customer service and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of food items.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, providing solutions that enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food service environment.
  • Help create a positive work atmosphere that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.

Qualifications 

  • Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably within a restaurant or hotel setting.

  • Wine and food pairing knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques is a plus.
