Position Overview

The Motorcycle Tour Guide is responsible for operating a motorcycle or sidecar rig while guiding guests through designated routes. This role requires exceptional riding ability, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a fun, safe, and memorable experience for visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate motorcycle or sidecar rigs safely while following all traffic laws and company protocols.
  • Provide engaging narration about local history, wildlife, landmarks, and cultural points of interest.
  • Assist guests with helmets, gear, seating, and safety briefings.
  • Perform pre‑ride and post‑ride inspections of motorcycles and equipment.
  • Monitor weather and road conditions and adjust routes as needed.
  • Ensure guest comfort throughout the tour, including photo stops and rest breaks.
  • Handle guest questions and provide friendly, professional service.
  • Report mechanical issues or safety concerns to management.
  • Promote company tours and encourage positive reviews from guests.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Valid motorcycle license (Class 4 and 6 in Alberta) with clean driving record and has been riding for 2 years.
  • Strong riding experience; sidecar experience is an asset (training will be provided).
  • Knowledge of local geography, wildlife, and tourism highlights.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to lift and move gear (typically 25–40 lbs).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak tourism season.
