Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities will include 

  • Operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers and attachments
  • Performing routine maintenance on equipment, including checks, lubrication, and minor repairs.
  • Moving and positioning materials, including dirt, gravel, and construction debris.
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment in accordance with company procedures.
  • Following all safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Completing daily logs and reports as required.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment, including specific types mentioned in the job description 
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must have First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS and Ground Disturbance Level 1
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
