Restaurant Deli Supervisor: Job Brief
- The Deli Supervisor is part of a four person service team including a Cashier and two servers
- Each position has its own duties however each position will be trained to cover any other Deli position for any length of time depending on scheduling.
- The lodge is a very busy remote location serving guests from all over the world
- Your main focus is training and mentoring your team to increase all Deli category sales
Responsibilities and Duties
- Gathering data on the performance on each position to ensure the success of each team member.
- Your main responsibility Greet every Bus Driver and Tour Director. Learn their names and be there to help with there group
- Allocation of duties, through the schedule you will determine who does what position
- Become a POS expert
- Coordinating group business including pre-booking
- Treating our Drivers and Guides like gold
- Checking incoming orders
- Ordering for the FOH
- Inventory control
- Prep and doing BBQ for lunch
- Covering breaks for the rest of the team
- Attending F&B meetings and completing reports
- You must remain at your station to accommodate customers moving through the café for most of the day
- Make sure you keep your head up and greet each and every customer
- It is necessary to keep the Deli line stocked with excellent product so you have many great recommendations.
- You are responsible for all food and cooler temperature checks
- Each afternoon, review the days sales and the functions the next day so you can do the Deli order for the kitchen including sandwiches, soups, stews and desserts
