Reporting to the Laundry Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
- Pick up soiled linen from the resort
- Deliver JPL linens, staff uniforms and town contracts linen at scheduled times
- Assist the Washperson and Laundry Attendants as required
- Assess and communicate the PAR requirements to maintain adequate inventory level
- Provide and deliver other departments with clean linen
- Report necessary maintenance items
- Monitor and complete ticketing requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure the completion of task checklist by the end of each shift.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle fleet, ensuring both interior and exterior are regularly cleaned and well-maintained
- Adhere to all LQA standards set for the department
- Consistently uphold a professional and well-groomed appearance in accordance with the company’s established grooming policy
- Must be flexible in regards to work schedules (weekends and holidays as required)
- Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles
- Following all safety and sanitation policies
- Other duties as assigned
