We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team for the upcoming season. We offer flexible contract options, with both 4-month and 6-month contracts available, with the possibility of extension into a permanent role.
JOB SUMMARY:
As Line Cook at Jasper Inn & Suites, you will be responsible for conducting yourself professionally whilst ensuring the quality and standards of the Food & Beverage Department. You will be responsible for following all assigned tasks and duties, food preparation procedures, health and safety standards, kitchen operating procedures, kitchen equipment maintenance, etc.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate under the direction of the Executive Chef.
- Follow daily preparation lists and requirements.
- Follow all opening and closing checklists and standard operating procedures.
- Follow all cleaning checklists and logs for kitchen maintenance.
- Follow all recipes and portion control standards correctly.
- Ensure that all workstations remain clean, organized, and stocked before and during service.
- Be on line cooking, calling orders and staging the timing of plate execution.
- Ensure all kitchen inventory and storage areas are clean and organized.
- Receive products; verify the invoices are correct and ensure product quality.
- Produce high-quality product and service to ensure guest satisfaction and retention.
- Follow staffing guidelines and timeliness throughout working shift.
- Maintain all health and safety standards as outlined by Government regulations.
- Attend meetings related to Food & Beverage if required.
- Perform other related duties as required by the Executive Chef / Sous Chef.
