Otto's Cache is Jasper's first locally owned café, bakery and curated provisions market. Serving an expertise and craftsmanship of a new era of Jasper hospitality offerings. In Spring 2025, Otto's Cache will open its doors to Jasper National Park. The cafe/bakery focus will be on both dine-in and take-away offerings. Serving specialty coffee, fresh baked goods, sandwiches, salads. The market’s main focus will be providing our community with locally sourced, exciting artisanal provisions, making great food accessible to our community year round. We’re looking for a head baker who is a professional who oversees the production of baked goods in a bakery or restaurant. They are in charge of creating and executing recipes, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervising and training the baking staff
- Developing and testing new recipes and products
- Ensuring quality and consistency of baked goods
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies
- Maintaining hygiene and safety standards
- Resolving any issues or complaints
