Job Overview

As a Driver/Operator II, you will operate a variety of equipment including vacuum trucks, front-end loaders, excavators, skid steers (bobcats), and water trucks. This role also involves operating pressure-washing equipment, performing routine maintenance on trucks and machinery, and completing general maintenance tasks such as installing and repairing barriers, signage, and markers, as well as patching and repairing roadways. You will act as a flag person when required and perform other general labor duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Completion of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience relevant to heavy equipment operation, road maintenance, and/or agriculture.

OPERATIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
- Class 3 Driver's License with air brake certification or higher;
- Considerable drive time in Class 8 maybe considered.

EXPERIENCE:
EX1: Experience in operating heavy equipment.
EX2: Experience in operating a tandem axle manual transmission class 8 truck.
