Job Description: 

Jasper Employment & Education Centre is seeking a talented, passionate professional who will enjoy supporting jobseekers and employers in our Career & Employment Resource Centre.  The ideal candidate will deliver an outstanding Client experience by creating a warm and welcoming first and last impression that exceeds the unique needs of each client.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Greet and welcome each Client in a personalized, friendly and inviting manner
  • Determine the client’s service needs and assist or connect the client to other programs
  • Provide job seekers with orientation and basic assistance with job readiness tools 
  • Act as liaison between employers and the Centre in regard to job postings and meetings
  • Maintain and update our job board, database, social media and website 
  • Answer the phone in a professional manner, providing callers with basic information about services when needed
  • Schedule client appointments in a manner that meets their needs
  • Record statistics and compile data for reports
  • Maintain proper office appearance and cleanliness
  • Operational tasks as required, such as writing cheques, creating invoices, maintaining our RingCentral account, submitting work orders, and organizing expense reports

Job Requirements
  • Business administration diploma or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • Independently motivated and demonstrates a high level of integrity and professional ethics
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients, employers and stakeholders
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • MS Office – intermediate to advanced
  • Database entry, report generation and documentation
  • Additional software competency – Google Docs, Facebook, Squarespace, Canva
